Repair, not replace
An industrial control board is often the single most expensive item in a machine, and frequently the least available. When one fails, the OEM answer is usually a replacement at replacement price on a long lead time — if the board is still made at all. Component-level repair is typically a fraction of that cost and a fraction of the wait.
How we diagnose
Visual and thermal inspection first, then powered diagnosis against the circuit's expected behaviour. We trace the fault to the failed component and, importantly, to what killed it — because a driver stage that failed because of a shorted output will fail again if only the driver is replaced.
Obsolete boards and end-of-life parts
Where a component is no longer available, we identify a functional equivalent and verify it in circuit. Where no equivalent exists, we can redesign the section or the whole board through our PCB design and development service, and source scarce parts via component sourcing.

Common questions
What if the board cannot be repaired?
We tell you before spending your money on it. Diagnosis is reported honestly, including when the economic answer is a replacement or a redesign, and we quote both routes.
Do you test the board under load before returning it?
Yes. A board that passes on the bench and fails in the machine has not been repaired. Functional testing under representative load is part of every repair.
Can you repair more than one of the same board?
Yes, and it is worth doing. Once we have diagnosed one, batch repair of your spares holding is faster and cheaper per board, and it usually reveals a common failure mode worth engineering out.
