Manufacturing at Well Works is built around the volumes industrial clients actually need: one-off replacements, small batches and repeat runs measured in tens or hundreds, not tens of thousands. That is the volume band most large plants are poorly served in, and it is where downtime costs the most.
We work to your drawings or to drawings we produce through our design and development service. Either way, the part is inspected against the drawing before it leaves us, and the inspection record goes with it.

Precision machining
Turning, milling, drilling and grinding of steels, stainless, aluminium, brass and engineering plastics to drawn tolerance.
Fabrication & welding
Sheet and structural fabrication, cutting, forming and welding for frames, guards, housings and skids.

Direct replacements for obsolete or unavailable parts, dimensionally matched so no surrounding modification is needed.

The part is produced, with in-process checks at the operations that carry dimensional risk.
Inspect & dispatch
Final dimensional inspection is recorded, and the part ships with its report.

Common questions
Will you make a single part?
Yes. One-off and low-volume work is a deliberate part of what we do — it is usually the urgent work, and it is where a responsive supplier is worth the most.
What if we do not have a drawing?
Send the sample. We will reverse engineer it through our product design service, produce a drawing, and manufacture from it. You keep the drawing for future orders.
Can you source the raw material?
Yes, including certified material where the application demands it. Material procurement runs through our sourcing and supply chain function.
How do you handle tolerances that our drawing does not specify?
We query them rather than assume. Unspecified tolerances are the most common cause of a rejected part, so we agree them in writing at quotation stage.
