Air preparation is most of the battle

Pneumatic reliability is decided upstream of the actuator. Water, oil carryover and particulate destroy valves and seals faster than any duty cycle does. We specify filtration, regulation and drying appropriate to the environment, and size the distribution so the last machine on the line sees the same pressure as the first.

Actuation and valve islands

Cylinder and valve selection follows the required force, stroke and cycle time, with cushioning and flow control set so motion is fast without being violent. Valve islands with fieldbus connectivity cut wiring substantially and give the control layer real diagnostic visibility.

Sequencing, interlocks and safety

Motion sequences, interlocks and safe states are designed alongside the wider control scheme so that a stop, a power loss or an air loss leaves the machine in a defined, safe condition rather than an unpredictable one.

Common questions

Can you find where our compressed air is going?

Yes. A leak survey typically finds a meaningful share of compressor output disappearing through fittings, worn cylinder seals and valves left open by dead solenoids. It is usually the fastest energy saving available on a pneumatic plant.

Should we convert a pneumatic application to electric?

Sometimes — for precise positioning or where duty is high and air cost is significant, an electric actuator can win. We will say so when it is the better answer rather than defending the pneumatic option.
