From constraint to geometry
Good mechanical design is mostly decided before the first feature is modelled. We start with the load case, the operating environment, the fits it has to hold and the process that will make it — then let geometry follow. It is the difference between a part that looks right and a part that can be produced at a sensible cost.
Reverse engineering obsolete parts
When a component is no longer manufactured and the original drawings are gone, we work from the sample. Dimensional measurement, material identification and functional analysis produce a drawing set that reproduces the part's behaviour in service — including the fits and finishes that the original supplier never documented. From there it moves straight into manufacturing.
Design for manufacture and assembly
Every design is reviewed against the processes that will produce it: tool access, minimum wall thickness, draft, finishing allowance and assembly order. Where a small geometry change removes an operation, we make the change and tell you what it saved.

Common questions
What file formats do you deliver?
Native CAD plus neutral STEP and IGES for 3D, and PDF plus DWG for 2D drawings. If your manufacturer needs a specific format, tell us at scoping and we will include it.
Can you improve a part rather than copy it?
Frequently that is the right call. If a part failed in service, reproducing it exactly reproduces the failure. We analyse the failure mode first and propose a corrected design alongside the like-for-like option.
