Measure the machine while it is healthy, and its decline announces itself months before it stops you.
What gets measured
Rotating plant fails in ways that are visible long before they are audible. Vibration spectra identify bearing wear, misalignment, imbalance and looseness as distinct signatures. Thermal imaging finds electrical connections and bearings running hot. Motor current signature analysis reveals rotor bar and load-side faults without stopping the machine.
Trending is what makes it useful
A single reading tells you very little; the change over time tells you almost everything. We establish a baseline for each monitored asset, then trend readings at a set interval so a rising vibration amplitude is flagged as a developing fault rather than dismissed as a number.
From measurement to maintenance decision
Data only pays when it changes what you do. Each report says plainly what is degrading, how urgent it is, and what action to schedule — feeding directly into a planned maintenance programme and, when parts are needed, into sourcing ahead of the shutdown.

Common questions
How often should readings be taken?
Monthly suits most critical rotating plant. Assets with a known developing fault are watched more closely; low-criticality machines can go quarterly. The interval should follow consequence of failure, not convenience.
How much warning does it actually give?
For a developing bearing fault, typically weeks to months — enough to order the part, plan the labour and do the work during a scheduled stop rather than at 2am.
Do we need to install permanent sensors?
Not usually. Route-based collection with a portable analyser covers most plants well. Permanent instrumentation is worth it for assets that are inaccessible during operation or critical enough to warrant continuous watch.
