We maintain the highest standards in every project — but a standard only means something if it produces a number someone can check. This is how that works on our jobs.
Every job is scoped with written acceptance criteria: the dimensions that matter, the performance figures the system must hit, the environment it must survive. Both sides agree what finished looks like before anyone commits money to it. Most disputes in engineering work are not about competence — they are about two parties holding different unwritten definitions of done.
Manufactured parts are dimensionally inspected against the released drawing, and the inspection record ships with the part. Control systems are commissioned against measured performance figures, recorded at handover. Repaired boards are functionally tested under representative load, not just powered up on a bench. In each case the evidence is a document you keep, not a verbal assurance.
When something has failed, the repair is only half the deliverable. A driver stage that failed because of a shorted output will fail again if only the driver is replaced, so our repair reports name the cause. Where the cause sits outside our scope — supply transients, degraded cooling, moisture ingress — we say so plainly, because you cannot fix what nobody wrote down.
Where an application demands certified material, it is procured to specification with certification retained and supplied. In defence and aerospace work, traceability follows the part through its life. On sourced electronic components, incoming verification is a standard step rather than an optional extra — an unverified part in a critical machine is a false economy.
Drawings, 3D models, bills of material, firmware source, as-built schematics, drive parameter backups and test records are handed over at completion. If you later want the work repeated by someone else, you can. We think that is the correct incentive: it means repeat business has to be earned on merit.
When a specified part is unobtainable and we propose an equivalent, the differences are documented — timing, ratings, temperature range, clearance, compound. A functional equivalent is a judgement, and judgements should be visible to the person carrying the risk. This applies equally to mechanical and electronic substitutions.
